1st rule of English:
Alot is not one word, but two. A lot. Do. Not. Ever. Forget.
2nd rule of English:
Reading is not homework. If I don't give you homework, I am gifting you more time to spend with literature. I expect this gift to be well used and appreciated.
3rd rule of English:
Abilities and skills you show are counted towards your final grade. Mistakes you make are not held against you. If you knew everything already, what use would school be? Therefore, try and fail as much as you can now, where you have support.
4th rule of English:
Failure to participate is a mistake, and counter-productive both to learning and grading, which may very well mean a poor result. This is not the same thing as being down-graded for bad behaviour.
5th rule of English:
If you ask me which type of English is the best, I will say British. This may or may nor be a serious response, but it is the one you will get. I play along thus far.
6th rule of English:
Anything I say, pretty much.
