Reading strategies are important. Listening comprehension is important. Discussion furthers learning.
Your task is to watch these 5 short films, with a parent if you like, and think about who you are as a reader, and how the strategies mentioned are useful to you. We will have a session on this in class 7/4.
You are compensated for your viewing time by having time off from Class Meeting on Thursday 24/3. We are also giving you this time since we are in the middle of this terms individual talks, and will be catching many of you during breaks for this.

Class trip
We were also going to give you time to discuss activities to help collect money for a possible class trip, if the class is interested (which the kids say they are).
An idea is to form different groups of parents to take care of an activity each. Previous years we have sold saffron, tulips, clothes from Newbody, done recycling of cans/bottles etc. Think about what you would be prepared to do, and we can start to get organised.
